JDM gauge cluster ?'s

Do you have to rewire a JDM cluster to get it to work on a almost stock 240. The car has a Ka24de in it and the cluster is meant for a sr20det. Is it just plug and play? Any info will help.

No not a nismo one, just a OEM nissan cluster from japan in KM instead of MPH. If you have some pics of the nismo cluster post them. Is it any different then the JDM cluster? Also how can i get my stock cluster out? After i took out all the visible screw i still can't get it to pop out. any suggestions would be good.

Well here is the pic of my Nismo gauge. I think i got real lucky with this one because it came out of a 92 sylvia front clip. And the clock still keeps perfect time. Also sorry about the quality but i had to use the web cam. D@mn digital camera doesnt have its act right.

thanks bro, i got my OEM JDM cluster yesterday and i haven't had a chance to test it, mine only goes to 180km unlike that nismo one you got. How much do the nismo ones go for?

^^

I really dont know to be honest. I have never looked it up because it was just something i wanted to keep and put on the 240. I was just suprised at the condition it was in.

The only thing i got to do is get a KA speed sensor because i still have the sr20det one on there. But other than that its all good. Plugged right in.

the cluster is not hard to take out; its all of the other **** u have to take out before that. I recommend taking out the windshield and signal switches and take out the bolt and spring that is used for tilting the steering column up and down. It will make it a lot easier and you won't risk breaking any of your parts - but it does take longer.

This would be a good time to pimp up your gauge cluster with leds or whatever u want so u don't have to do it all over again down the road cause its a biotch.

good luck
