Hello i was woundering how much work it would take and how much $ it would take to put sylvia s15 tails in a 89 240sx coupe

 

I've never seen it done before so you'd be the first that I know of if you did it. I understand it would take a lot of money though because it is a lot of custom work

 

yea...it will cost a pretty penny. Kus u would probably have to custom ur whole rear.

 

Well the way i see it is that it couldt cost to much becuse you will have to cut to fit the light then fiberglass the rest like where the old light was and my friend is a good body working guy
he mad a neon limo out of 2 crashed neons and some sheet metal iwill post pics of the car if you wanna c it .but i am ranging from 600-1200 $ for this plus the tails and getting it wired and painted
but i wanna do the s13 headlights also so i will get it all painted at the same time so it will be a nice pice of cash.i should have it done by next summer.Becuse i am a teen with a low paying job ....i will have it dont if i decide not to get the gsx-r750

 

seriously you should lean toward the 1200, unless your friend isnt charging you for labor (cause I have a bodywork friend too... come in handy when planning off the wall stuff huh?) cause fiber glass isnt exspensive, but it's not the cheapest stuff in the world, and pretty much everything with te s15 is upper end jdm stuff. so exspect to pay outragous import mark ups.

take this from someone whos planning alot body work... and the price tag is up there and I'm doing majority of the work in house.

Well thanks alot for the help guys the next ting i am going to need to kno is what will i need besides the engine(SR20) to install it into my car.Like any lil thing most peplz dont think about when they do a swap like anything you all kno of jus let me kno(and I did look into the RB20 also becuse whats his name told me to but not as many aftermarket parts as i am lookin 4) i will post pics of the limo neon its the only one in the world it is a neon but its cool lol.

 

aftermarket engine stuff? you start getting into turbos, custom intercooler piping, you can bore the stroke, make it a sr22 :P... NOS, new headers, blow off valve... the list goes on and on...
