LOL.....i did that myself

What E-Bay FMIC did you buy.....i'm looking into buying a FMIC kit in a week or so. If you could give me a ( link ) to the one you bought or one like you bought, that would really help me out......and your cars looking good by the way.

the ic core is really overkill for a t25 though. if i could do it again i would get one 1/2 as tall and keep my metal bumper

how many miles does your motor have?

All Mighty KA-T 08-14-2006 04:47 AM

Thanks for the link. Did you need to modify any of the piping to make it work? thanks

silviaks2nr 08-14-2006 08:45 AM

my motor has 97k
the ic piping works without mods, but you will need something on the throttle body to make it reach the coldpipe. (you can see i have a 45 degree bend and 2 black couplers). i have heard s13 sr fmics probably fit with less headache.

I have heard the same thing about the S13 ColdPipe, and thanks for the info on the FMIC......i'm going to buy that same kit next week + i'm going to but the 45 degree bend. One more ( ? ) that 45 degree bend.....is it 3 inch or 2.5 inch piping, b/c the piping in the FMIC kit is 2.5 inch piping and the throttle body is 3 inch in (D) so i just wanted to know if i have to buy a 3 inch 45 degree piping or a 2.5.........thanks for all the help.......:thumb:

P.S. Did you have to cut a hold in the batt. holder for the FMIC piping?

silviaks2nr 08-14-2006 01:47 PM

the tb inlet is more like 2.75 as is the cold pipe. a 2.5" 45 degree bend with 2.5" couplers on either side will work best (you will have to stretch them a tad to fit over the tb and coldpipe. i used a 3" 45 degree bend with 2x 2.5/3" reducers. be prepared to cut the 45 bend pretty short. a silicone bend might be your best bet :thumb:
anyhow the e-manage main harness is now wired up. i havent decided if i should use the ignition harness if i dont want to mess with timing too much. anyone have a driver so my comp will talk through the usb to the blue unit?

silviaks2nr 08-17-2006 08:58 PM

everything is in. i found some base timing/fuel maps that im going to give a try tomorrow morning :thumb: i'll be sure to make a video if all goes well
