kouki projector color mod

kouki projector color mod

Alright, heres what im working with

dimensions: 3” clear lens, 4.5 inch wide, 5 inch deep

stock there lots of yellow at cutoff, but a fairly sharp with nice flare. In order to mod it the “bars” must be cut off the shield in order to push the shield closer to the bulb. To do this I used a dremel and a cutting wheel.

should look like this when finished

no before after pics right now but you can imagine how it must look (a lot like fx xenon projector probably)
!!!!!!!note no purple or red shown in the pics but it is there… even some orange in the flare!!!!!!

no further away pics, because it is a halogen projector with halogen bulb hehe but the colors are magnificent too bad I cant pick them up with my camera (green blue purple orange red yellow) if anyone can think of any other way to mod this projector let me know and ill try it b.c it’s a spare any suggestions on digi cam settings are greatly appreciated too

this is a really easy mod, well if you have the guts to try it on stock headlights... i will probably be the first :thumbsup wonder what it is like with the lense :12dunno probably pretty colorless

washers. use 3 or sometimes 4 and put them in between the shield and the projector. it'll make that colorband more than twice as thick.

this works on all hid projectors but i can't promis anything for halogen but then again most halogen projectors don't have color and you found out that these do.

yo, here's what i've done to ur car in PS, now go and cut up that thingy in the middle of ur grill and bondo it up, while you are at it, go give urself a hair cut too, i did, my hair was much longer than your's, hahah summer is too hot to look like a bum...
o btw amber is 10000000000000000000000000000 times hotter than clear...

well painting something like the lip usually turns out awsome,. but trust me, once u start painting larger pieces, it aint gonna look so good, but if u can pull it off, then the more power to u,,
