kouki wing

just got a kouki spoiler for 98 240 and the car already has a usdm spoiler on it and i wanted to know how do you put the jdm kouki spoiler on because it looks like only 2 of 4 holes line up.. and it leaves 3 holes in the trunk lid exposed...

thanks

i went through the same problem before scratchin my head like a dumbass

you have two choices

1. buy a non se trunk lid the same color as your car with no holes or wing and attach the kouki wing

or

2. fill the holes and sand, prime, and paint both your trunk lid and spoiler

I RECOMMEND GETTING A NON SE TRUNK LID CAUSE I AM NOT A FAN OF BONDO AND IT COULD BE A FAIRLY SIMPLE JOB

no need to bondo, metal is your friend. but yes some filler would need to be applied. just put some electrical tape on the exposed holes until you can get it done right

Yeah, dont bondo the holes, it will just fall through after a couple of months. You will need to weld it and grind it down, then sand it, then put some bondo to make it smooth. I have also heard of people welding mesh screens on the underside and then putting some bondo on it.

Where did you buy the wing from and how much did it cost you? I was thinking of doing that in the near future. I've got a '98 SE too...
