Lexan Rear Window?

I'm going to get a CF rear hatch. I was hoping to replace the rear window with a lexan piece. Does anyone know of any companies that sell molded or can mold lexan rear windows?

LEXAN WEB SITE

Measure out your back window and give them the dimensions of the window, curvature points etc and you can get the window made here for half the cost of a pre-made one.

Chargespeed makes an acrylic window. Is acrylic glass weigh less than normal glass?

I am also interested in getting a CF Hatch. I saw one in person last week, it looks real nice they were using the stock glass but without the rear wiper.

JDMxDrift, can you post a link of were you can get the chargespeed window?

I called enjuku. They said they can get me the lexan window they use. Its molded for the CF 180sx hatch. You have to drill holes and rivet the lexan piece on. Race car status!! : )

Either Or. You can use rivets or any hardware, which ever you like. Thats what the Enjuku guy said.

Thats great and all that you installed a CF hatch, but we're talking about what you can use to securely fasten the acrylic glass to the CF hatch. Just because you installed one with nuts and bolts doesn't mean thats the only way. I've seen drag civics with riveted acrylic window. I'm not saying that you can't do it with nuts and bolts, but quit being so close-minded.

yeah you can use rivets if you want like the dragster's
but do they drive around with the windows open ?
i'm trying to save you from buying a new hatch down the road

Now thats a valid statement. I thought you were saying to bolts just because you used them to install one. So why are rivets bad to use? The pressure from the air coming in will rip the glass off?
