Question Megan Racing Seats? Decent?

does anyone have a set of megan racing seats. ive been looking for some new seats and these seemed like a good price, but are the seats decent.

i dont expect them to be sparco or bride quality, but ~$400 a set sounds good to the wallet.

ive searched and came up with nothing ...

so if you have any pics or experience with these seats.. please post away..

Stock feels better - Megan seats look racer-type but they don't feel too good after 5 minutes. Plus as far as quality is concerned, look on Ebay and you'll see a bunch of seats that look just like them minus the name. Guess why?

If you can source em, grab some seats out of a B13 SE-R. The front two bolts line right up, and you can easily adapt the rear 2 to fit to the 240's shell. I had them in my coupe. Lot more comfortable than the stock S13 seats, and are a bit more supportive.

Just an option if you can source them for cheap.

Bang-for-the-buck route - go S14 seats... IIRC they bolt right in. I know I have an S14, but if I had an S13 personally I'd prefer S14 seats over Megans.

I've been looking for s14 seats for a long time and can't seem to get a hold of a set. I guess I'm just too slow when people post for sale ads.
So Raine when you decide to get some bucket seats for your ride, sell me your stockers k LOL

STAY AWAY from imitations....my bro has some cheap "racing seats" in his camaro and they are horrible....even he agrees...They are hard as hell. When it comes to aftermarket seats stick with the big companies such as Sparco, Bride, etc.

There is always stock seats. S14 seats were mentioned. Then there is R32 seats and S15 seats....Ebay can sometimes be your friend

O and to the original poster...nice sig

Werd - either the fakies are too stiff or too soft for comfort... and 30 minutes in a shop "testing how they feel" isn't really enough time

You need more like a one week trial session Your best bet would be to find some friends (You do have friends right? J/K) With some aftermarket seats and drive their car for a day or two

Ok....maybe they wont let you do that Worth a try....Dont go with what other people tell you. Your *** should be the judge of that.

For the hell of it, I'll try to sit on the megan racing s14 (equipped with MR seats) this weekend. It won't be enough time to actually have the feel for the seats, but just to compare with the seats I have in the Z- which are pretty damn comfy IMO
