yeah i know about the taiwan and canada ones. so how long can FIA approved seats be used on the track?? i found a sparco evo that was made in May 2004. how long is it still good for or is there no limit?

I don't think there is a time limit for seats. There is one for harnesses though.

ok/....FINALLY!!!!! UPDATTTTEEEE!!!! haha in the prepaint stage. i started masking things up tonight. i was cleaning the garage and getting everything ready all damn day. If my friend dustin doesnt show up to paint tomorrow then im just gonna do it. finishing up masking and cleaning then prepping it in the morning. will have more pics tomorrow. oh and the 636 is for saleee!!! lol

 

got through alot but my filters on my respirator and had to quit, i had black paint all over my face lol

scott-im using all PPG paint, clear, reducer, hardner, etc. and using a shi**y $120 porter cable gravity feed gun. i got small craftsman 100g tank but its holding up pretty good

there are some spots on the left quarter im not too happy about but hopefully the flake will cover it tom. (the tip wasnt set to spray how i wanted it and it came out in a small streamlike when i was shooting the sealer so i had a few big runs lol. stopped, let it dry and sanded it down with 400, i should have then gone over it atleast 600 to blend it but im too lazy so it kinda ****ed me back haha) you can tell i just got done shooting it from the way the air looks haha its soooooo thick haha

 

oh and im using a 1.4mm tip. i got a couple extra larger ones (1.6 and 2 just in case)
im just curious on how the pure flake will shoot. i never shot just a pure flake...hmmmm its gonna be interesting. im just hoping i dont have to do tons of layers, i dont wanna mix so much flake that it wont even shoot and if i do that and use a larger tip, it might just blob up and i reallyyyy dont want that too happen
