Man, get rid of that spoiler before its too late. My hatch is officially dead because of those.

 

I think that it is too late. It already leaks like crazy.

 

take the wing off and use electrical tape to seal it off so it doesnt get worse.

 

mine is through also...I guess it was a design flaw

i don't get it, what happens to the spoiler?

 

it is not the spoiler it is the hatch underneath that rust aways when it sit and over time.

 

I officaly hav 3 holes in my hatch.

 

My friend's se has a rust problem on his hatch too. I'm glad my base doesn't have a factory spoiler, lol. I like the car, I wish my grandpa would give me a 240. Getting a salvage title can be a *****. I have an old ford truck I use for hauling stuff, and going off road, and it took them like 3 months to clear it with a salvage title.

 

Is there any way to fix this problem without buying a new hatch?

just get a hatch from a junkyard i got mine for 100 bucks
