My new black beauty.....

[IMG][/IMG]

This is my new black beauty... pretty good condition... Hopefully you'll see more of her as the mods are piled on.... What you don't see are the huge primer spots on the other side on the the front fender and the rear panel.... but whatever, she's still beautiful....

Car looks like it's in really good condition. I can't wait to see the mods you do to it.

Well, the intake that came with it is kinda old, so that's probably gonna be the first thing to go, along with the headers, and upon driving it, I noticed that I need to replace the flywheel, and the corner lights are out, and the seat is kinda rickety (the guy that owned it before me was a big guy), so that has to go too.

Well, obviously, the flywheel is gonna go, it's makin this huge racket. I was lookin at this Jim Wolf flywheel, like $400, and the short shifter, and the bushings, so that might be the first things. Those gotta be soon, too. Next thing goin is the intake, then the headers, probably get a new paint job, cuz the previous owner said it used to be white and he painted it black, but the paint job was really crappy and it's starting to chip off. That and on the driver's side it has two big *** primer spots on the left fender and the side panel. But I'll get the wheels and new tires (that's gotta be soon too, the tread's gettin a little low and it's gonna start raining here soon) before I get the paint done. That's what my short term plans are, my endgame is swapping to an RB26DETT, but that'll be way down the line. The good thing about this KA is that it was rebuilt about 75,000 miles ago, so it's in pretty good condition, so I'll just improve on it till it gives out. I thought about getting the SR, but if I'm just gonna end up getting an RB anyway, I'll just save the dough and go for broke.

I'd recommend the Fidanza flywheel (13 lb. I believe)... it's cheaper and kicks butt.

I've seen it for about the same price.... The JW weighs about 12lbs I think. If anyone knows where I can get it cheaper in CA, then by all means, let me know.... The cheapest one I've seen that's worth getting is the JW for $385

I would take a look at the floorpan if the seat has some give. I thought my coupe had a broken seat when it was actually the rot that 240s get when the rubber gasket that is supposed to release water doesn't.
