i had that same deck in my 95 civic 3 years ago....thing started going crazy on me and displaying funky signs and wouldnt eject my discs....then i rammed the car into a truck

I've got a se spoiler on my '90 base too. I think ur right, must have been a dealer option for both gens. (I wish it wasn't though cause now I need a new lid to replace the rusted out trunk lid :P)

I figured the owner stuck it on there because most bases dont have a wing. But the clear coat on it is peeling off so im going to have to repaint it.

 

I've still got my red s13 ima rob the lid off of, car's gonna be two tone for a while, lol, black and primer. Im gonna try and paint the car with my brother this summer though. We've got all the tools, but neither of us have much experience painting autos. Back on topic, good luck with the new s14, looks good.

5 lug and 5 spd conversion is doable for $1000-1500 depending on what you get

 

s14dude took the center caps off and spray painted his wheels you should look into it.

 

I have been thinking about it. Im not the best at painting. I was going to leave the caps off the other day when i cleaned the wheels but the rear hub looked ugle compaired to the front. It had a really dirty axle thing with a carter-pin. The fron looks good though. Ill probly end up getting the Se 5lugs with Z32 brakes.
