Hey, this is Read. Um nice car, I would have helped more but I was busy helping Chris on his new vert. You will have to come out and chill some more in Waxhaw.

Dude definetly...I had a helluva fun time at your guys house....next time im over you are taking me for a ride in your car! And Spencer may or may not have pushed me towards ka-t instead of rb20....not sure yet but my engine would definetly need a rebuild first...im super nervous about turboing a 137k mile ka without a rebuild!

you should be fine, just check compression and dont run high boost. and have it tuned. you could have a decent 180-200 whp motor for under 2g.

My power goal is around 250-300...I am just super worried about long term engine life. If i was to do a ka-t I would get a new engine and have it rebuilt and then turbo that and swap it in.

Man, you should paint that engine bay before you get that thing fully bolted and wired in. This is the best opprotunity you will have.

I bought it from a guy locally.

I know i should have painted the bay, but I am really trying to get the engine running for auto x this weekend and i am trying to focus on fixing more important things. The turbo may be ****. There is a good amount of oil in the intake tubing and on the maf. The guy i bought the engine has another turbo i will be able to get if thats the case.

And i want to see this swap done too lol. This is month 4 my car has not been running and im tired of driving a broke a*s piece of sh*t taurus around...ask spencer and read how much of an adventure it is riding in the damn thing
