my s14 overhaul

(my project is starting to come along and i thought id post some pics of the progress up to where i am so far. i bought the car last may from a dealship in west va. the car is a 95 base model with a 5 lug swap. it also came with kyb agx's and tein springs (i will be getting some tein flex's after its painted). i got into an accident about a month after i had the car (a girl cut in front of me and i hit her and bounced into a tree) this is why i am painting it. onto the pics!

this is when i first bought the car.

all the rust was patched. i cut pieces of quaters off of some junk cars at my dads junk yard and used them for patches. and on the rocker i cut the rot out of the them and cut the rockers off of my s14 front clip and welded them in. so as much of a bondo bucket as it looks like it really isnt that bad.

i also set the sr in to test fit the front bumper cover with the intercooler on and so i could punch the whole out for the piping with a hydrolic hole punch i borrrowed from work.

its come along way, i remember that post you made a while ago when you first got it wanting to know if it was an se model, lol that was a long time ago. my car would of been totaled but we didnt go through insurance either, called a tow truck and had it towed strait to the house after the wreck.

thanks for all the responses guys. ya the car has gone a long way. and about changing the color. i really liked the stock color and i wanted a car that looked pretty much stock. i run almost no body mods with the exception of a jdm front bumper and lip. my fenders are neither rolled or flared.

got a lot of misc work done in the past week. not much that really shows but. i got all the wheel wells and the rockers seam sealed, fixed a small hole in the front wheel well, ran all new brake and clutch lines instead of having them go up on the top of the firewall to the mc's i ran new ones from the tranny tunnel and pass side brakes down along the crossmember and back up the frame rail up the the mc's for the stealthy line tuck lol. i also got my valve cover back from the powder coating shop its reflective crome powder. i got my mr mani put on, im only using that temperarly until i go with my 2871r setup at the end of summer. i put it on with some s15 dual layer metal gaskets and a z32 turbo to mani gasket. and i also painted up the front of the motor. shes goin in tomorow for the final time. ill post pics of the lines in and then of the motor sittin in her new home tomorow. enjoy theese for now though.
