My Sil80 before being painted

Here are some VERY rough pics.

I took these yesterday before i dropped it off at my body man's place.

There are still alot of things to be done as far as the conversion goes-still lots of perfecting left to be done to the conversion, but i cant complain.

hope you guys enjoy

comments or suggestions are very welcome as well

thanx guys!

the color is still up in the air.

right now its a tossup between 4 colors and schemes:

350Z lemans orange top and bottom or black top with colored body
350z daytona blue top and bottom
Black-with some sort of flake in it-top and bottom
Bright Candy orange-black top with colored body

OMG!

Is it finally getting done..... lol been seeing your posts in wanting to finish.. Looks B-U-T-FULL ...like said before, wish i had the dinero to do my front. decided to stick with my flip up headlights instead of the s15 (1st choice) or the s13 silvia conv. At least i have my 180 tails...not many barely ne1 has them around me on LI

The color though, the 350Z orange is different on an s13..hmmm

IMO S1580 looks too nose heavy. Before the paint job I suggest getting a set of 30-50mm rear OVF to balance it out. Adding a wing will look better too.

Get candy orange or blue.
Also, I've been reading threads about the s15 front conversion, I couldn't believe shops quoted 4k for labor. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the final price tag for you, w/ and w/o kouki tails?

Aero parts including a full bomex aero kit, cf hood, conversion fenders, oem S15 headlights, and kouki tails ran about $3500

not too bad, but definately aint cheap.

keep in mind, i shaved the rear trunk lid due the the factory wing, shaved the antenna, shaved the rear side markers.

also, the front end needs to be straighted up and have everything lined up perfectly.

then paint.

talkin about $$$ makes me sick
