Need A Little Help

just getting into the 240 world...sold my SRT 4 and am looking to purchase a 97-98 240 SX. my question is who sells the fenders for an R33 conversion?? also is there a kit to install R33 skyline taillights or do i just cut and mold?? I wanna do this correctly and not turn this car into a ricer...I also plan on installing a SR20DET motor. Thanks for your help

Turning it into a "Skyline" is rice enough.

don't be hard on him, he did after all SELL his SRT-4 ... best move he could've made.
Best move #2 is looking for a 240.
Skyline conversion is cool, i guess, but very expensice, search google.
SR20 is cool, but if you have a low mile KA24DE you can turbo it for more power with less money.

Keep on-a-readin' bud!

You can get just as much or more out of a ka-t. It's a larger displacement and a block known to hold for very very long times... i like the r33 front end, looks cool, but as far as i know, there isnt a kit for it like an s15 conversion would have. For the cost of parts, labor and all the other random crap of putting in a sr and/or putting on an r33 front end, you could probably buy a cheap r33. Keep reading and researching.

if your going to do a R33 front end conversion get a zenki (95-96) cheper and easier to find...might as well look for one with front end body damage with a good frame...if you sold your SRT4 you probably have enough money...

Say he gets a car for $5000 in good condition. Swaps the SR with extra mods and has someone do it for $6000 to bring it to 250rwhp or so. Or a RB swap done by someone for $9000. Then he gets the headlight and tailight conversion of a R33 which I would guess to cost around $3000. So that is $14,000 to $17,000. You can defiantly get an older skyline for a lot less then that and I am sure you can find a R32 for around that.

Motorex is running out of business? Are you sure?

I believe you can buy the whole front clip for R33 on Ebay but I don't know how much it cost though.
