A new addition to the family

Picked up a 1972 datsun 510 wagon last night and it looked real clean. Ran awesome and has little to no rust. The interior has rips here and there, but overall it's good. I plan on sanding it down and apply a coat of black primer, then by summer time get it painted the stock green color.

So, here we go with the pics.

I don't know what seats those are from, but they were pretty comfy on the drive home.

Didn't get a chance to see what those gauges are for because they didn't light up on the drive. Maybe they're not hooked up.

Camber plates for the fronts. I can't quite remember what spring/shock combo the guy told me the car has, but it sits pretty low. It has lowering blocks on the rear leafs.

He took off the wheels he had on there and was going to put into his commuter, but the bolt pattern (both patterns on the wheels) didn't match up. So he told me to take them for free. I'll have more pics later, specially the engine bay.
Since it's fall, it would be a great time for a photoshoot. Only if I can get three more people to drive my other cars for the shoot.

looks great. suggestion- don't primer the car until its in the paint booth ready for base coat also. Primer does not have the same protective qualities that base coats do, so you will develop rust very quickly and have issues when you go to paint over the 8month old primer.

Kinda. U67 head on a L16 block. Dual su carbs. The engine bay is REALLY clean. New Dogleg tranny (from a 200sx I believe). New starter, new alternator, new radiator and rad cap, new cap & rotor, new wires, new air filter, and a new battery.

Thanks for that advice! I'll make sure to remember that.

Thanks yuta. I should pick up wheels like yours. Good size for a good price.
I almost picked up a 2dr for $1200, but the clutch was slipping and the engine firewall had a small hole where rust had eaten through (nothing a cut and weld can't fix). It also has a lot of surface rust in the interior (door hinge, pedals, trunk). The brakes were bad and the driver seat didn't have brackets (seats were held down by bungee cords).
It would've cost more than what i paid for this one to get the 2dr road ready.
But I wanted a wagon more, anyway. I want a car with a little more space.
