new to club240. my daily ride (s13)

im new around here and just thought i should post some pics of my baby. im a broke high school student who isnt funded by his parents. so i dont have much to work with i got her like a month ago. im really broke after spending so much money on a stupid honda only to find out that it was stolen 2 weeks after bought it and worked on it...(mistake)!!

the day that i got it:

(look, its riding on fatty chromes lol)

obviously this isnt flowing too well with the car

after stock se rims, eibach springs, kyb shocks, etc. :

pics with a couple friends

just thought id throw this one in there

bad lighting on this one

more pics to come!!!

since im a broke high school student, these are the only things done to my car now:

- custom 2.5in piping w/ stock lookalike muffler
- nismo solid shifter
- eibach springs
- kyb shocks
- se alloys
- bfgoodrich g-force sports
- + other misc. things

things to come for the summer:

- mr street coilovers
- viscous lsd
- b&m short shifter
- endless brake pads
- some sort of rotors and calipers (haven't decided which ones)
i can take some suggestions
- f&r sway bars and strut bars

looks like all the money i make is gonna go straight to s13

Not bad but you should have saved the money you spent on spring and shocks if you where going to buy coilovers and just get them. Might I suggest the KTS coil-overs or the MR track coil-overs instead? Street are pretty weak.

Also forget the b&m short shifter if you already have the nismo solid shifter, money could be better spent.

As for brakes you probably don't need new calipers or rotors(inless yours are warped), but defently upgrade the fluid and the stainless steel brake lines. Good choice in pads.

Your off to a good start just work as much as you can and your goals will come faster! Don't fail out of scholl though thats bad.

phreze - the only reason i bought those springs and shocks was because i thought that i was gona be able to buy coilovers, big mistake. what do you mean the mr streets are weak? i originally was gona get the mr tracks but i heard that they were too stiff for everyday street use.

oh yea btw, as for the work part, you wouldnt believe how much korean parents are willing to pay for you to tutor their kids. last gig i had, they paid me 15/hour just to teach their kid basic algebra. the biggest gig i had, the parents paid me 24.50/hour to teach their kid how to play sax....just something to keep in mind

thanks for the inputs

dont buy the tracks, they are to hard for everyday use. That why theyre are "street" and "track"

No, the level in craftsmenship is not the same and has been reviewed over and over again. I drive on 8k/10k everyday and its fine. Some people do get the track coil-overs and then swap in the lower spring rate from the street version.

Read up about it and you can see what I am saying for yourself. Also look up KTS coilovers, good stuff for aboutthe same price.
