Yeah, you're right, still ticked me off though. I've tried waiting to see if it was a leak in the doors or windows or something . . .I figured it must be an issue with the sunroof or something of the sort . . .nope. It just got through raining for 2 days in a row, almost constantly and not a drop is on the floor. It leads me to believe that either the car was like that when I picked it up . . .or maybe I thought I closed a window tightly when I really didn't. The former is pretty plausible but the latter is more likely.
At any rate . . .here's the vibe from the latest of the bloggities . . .
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drift Spares Drift Spares Everywhere!
So yesterday, I met up with my friend and teammate, Nick “Jeezy” Ward. We decided to swap our non-usable drift spares. So I gave him my old spares from my Mustang and he gave me his old 4-lug (SE and Z31) spares.
Yeah, yeah, I know . . .”BOUWT DAVE! JyU Ju$t TrAyDid Sebunteans 4 FivTeenz!!!111onewun”.
This is true, but you know, I can’t say that I feel bad. I got drift spares that I can use on my M30 and he got drift spares for his Kouki (which will be lookin so damn fresh and clean on the track for 2010, mind you). I got my usage out of those just as he got his usage from these.
OH! And don’t worry . . .I’ll still keep some STAYTUS with the M30, she’ll be getting some 16s or something like that, brand new . . .from who . . .I don’t know, but I’m thinking gold 5 or 6 spokes.
Pics of TEH trades and junk…
Unloaded the wheels from the apartment . . .
Stacked them up in the Cavalier . . .can you believe that I got 8 17″ wheels and tires in that bad boy? GYAH!
One picture of the cars sitting there before we roll out for the trade
Nick and his friend loaded the 17s into his truck and it’s pretty funny because they even had trouble getting all of those wheels inside of the bed of that thing.
You can see here, the 15 loaded up SO damn easily. I’m so proud of the Cavalier! I could probably load 10-12 wheels and tires in that thing . . .well . . maybe not THAT many, but definitely more than 8, LOL!
I’ll make sure to get some pictures of the wheels on the car!

You know . . .I hate to admit it . . .but . . .
15’s look pretty damn good on the M30. It looks proper, even more so than the 18s that were on it originally. At least in my opinion, anyway . I can’t wait to get some better tires so I can rock these things regularly . . .
Here are some pics from today. Those are Z31 wheels if anyone is wondering and/or cares.

Sadly there isn't too much on my update list. . . right now, she's just waiting on seat time. Once I get enough track time with this car, I'm going to get back into building. I don't wanna go NUTS spending cash on it without feeling the improvements

Yes . . .yes . . .I know . . .I know . . . David Adams, where the HELL have you been?! We’ll things have been rough, as you already know. I got laid off in March of this year and just recently got myself another job back in April. I’ve been busy as HELL working my *** off to make sure that I can get some seat time going. I’m so glad to see that it’s not all in vein.
This passed Sunday, I was fortunate enough to be invited to a private drift day put together by Lethal Injection Motorsports. That’s right, the sponsorinos are at it again! This event was soooo awesome, I got plenty of footage of the M30 sliding about, I’m going to get it all compiled together to make sure that we get some good stuff up here for you all to see. Lots of people were out there KILLING it, including Sean Morgan, Nick Ward, Derek McLaughlin, Joe Burgess of JoeMakesDrifts.com, Formula D drifter Harrison Ritchie and soooo many others.
A lot was learned this day and we all got a LOT of seat time! The pre-party was amazing, the atmosphere of the drift event was relaxed and DRAMA FREE and everyone was glad to see everyone else! I loved this event and this is what Joshua Herron and Will Roegge mean when they say “Keep Drifting Fun”! We kept it fun and because of that the day is one that will always remain in the history books of my drifting experience.
At this point I would like to thank Nick Ward, Dominic Price, Derek McLaughlin, Laura Burke, Joe Burgess and everyone at Lethal Injection and who is part of the Lethal Injection family for making this all possible. I can’t wait for this to happen again next month and I know that without each and every one of you this event and ones to come would not be possible!
I know, “Alright, Stig! Enough with the yammering already! Let’s see some pics!”
Your wish is my command!
Here are some pics of my car before we Joe Burgess showed up to help me with towing the car to the event!
Got a bunch of tires together, 8 in all. Thanks to my sponsors over at Sam’s Tire and Muffler for helping to make this event possible for me!
Had everything all packed up and ready to go for the shenanigans that would take place in the coming day!
Joe Burgess of JoeMakesDrift decided to come on out and step up to bat for the long haul ahead! Big thanks to him for helping to get the car there and back.
These pics are all a bit hard to see. We all showed up to the hotel that night and had a BLAST! Joe brought out the grill, Derek, Roland, Kevin and the others all supplied the drinks and we definitely had way more fun than can possibly be legal! In fact, I’m sure more than one FEDERAL law was broken that night! LOL!
Here’s the morning of the event! We roll out from here to begin the mayhem. This definitely proved to be quite the epic weekend!
Gas in Cordele, GA is HELLA EXPENSIVE!
LOL! Nah, I don’t know if that was the actual price, but that station WAS open for business. Needless to say, we didn’t chance it and we did NOT get fuel there! LMAO!
Didn’t get any pictures of myself drifting, as that’s quite the impossible thing to do! But I didn’t get some pictures of Harrison, Derek, and some of the others just KILLING it!
Derek tearing it up in Kevin Swon’s
This picture is TOO awesome! Derek flipped the cone and I caught the flip action as it happened! Toooo sweet! If you look closely, you can see Laura Burke cheesing like a school girl over the adrenaline pumping action!
Here’s some pictures of Harrison Ritchie in his MISSILE drifter (see my Missile List for what a missole is and how awesome they can be) making tires EXPLODE and pushing the insanity level through the roof! This guy blew up more tires than anyone I’ve ever seen before!
Here’s Junius in Harrison’s Formula D drift vehicle making some coooool tire smoke!
Here’s what put the nail in my drift-coffin. Not quite what we expected! We thought the engine would blow up, the clutch would give out or the transmission would fail, but we had ZERO mechanical malfunctions! This M30 is a MONSTER! She took every bit of abuse and came back for more! I was impressed! The picture you are going to see below is the only hiccup we had! One of the lugnuts seemed to weld itself to my wheel stud on the rear tire! The car is now at Lethal Injection motorsports awaiting some minor surgery.
After the event settled and everyone was relaxing, cleaning up and preparing to head home, the sky’s opened up with rain and helped to bring a very majestic end to a very intense day!
I’ll try to get some video of my drifting up and running on Youtube shortly! I’ll make sure that as soon as I do, the blog is updated and we are ready to rock and roll!

FINALLY! I have FINALLY gotten around to getting this video spliced together and uploaded! I thought I’d NEVER get this thing up and running! Between work and life I barely have any time for ME anymore. There’s always something . . .cooking, cleaning, the cat . . .the dog . . .the girlfriend . . .not always in that order, LOL! But, the video is up and without further ado, I’ll go ahead and get this thing posted up so you can hopefully enjoy it!
I hope you like it and once again a BIG shout out goes to the Lethal Injection Motorsports family for making this all happen!
