picked up an s14,its definitely a little different, needs some stuff, check it out

alright so i just picked this car up for what i think was a great price. this is my second s14, first kouki. its un-tuned and i have heard it run and have ridden in it but it has no dp and i really do not know the history on this motor. it is a 1jz toyota engine and I was told it was dropped in with the stock twin turbos and tuned, then the turbo was changed and it hasn't been driven since. supposedly 500 miles on the motor since installed. i checked all the obvious and i believe everything to be in good condition, just in need of some tlc. its got a greddy emanage ultimate which isnt my first choice but ill take it, after i re-wire it of course. engine by is pretty messy/cluttered, i am working on getting everything cleaned up and getting rid of the spray painted parts. the exterior needs paint as well, green and black are not a good combination at all.

engine/trans:
1jz toyota mk3 supra/soarer engine
R154 transmission
competition 6 puck sprung clutch
r32 rear axles and diff w/lsd
1200hp drive shaft
precision 680cc injectors
upgraded fuel rail
what i think to be an ebay manifold, twin scroll, no cracks (yet)
some huge caterpillar diesel turbo
ebay? fmic
koyo rad
gotta make a 4inch v-band tapering to 3, 3 inch exhaust all the way back
walbro 255hp pump, aeromotive fpr

exterior:
black green two-tone garbage (i cant stand it so bad im just gonna spray bomb over the green for now.)
all stock body
5zigen fn01rcs 17x9 rear,17x8 front, unsure of the offsets
tokico blues w/eibach springs
300zx tt front calipers, brembo rotors and stainless lines all around
mix matched tires, none of the brands match, all the same size though

interior:
way too many gauges, all glow shift, not my style
nismo shift ****
momo steering wheel
all else is stock

this car definitely needs some work but in the next couple of months it will really turn around i can say that. i want to get it running safely right now and then the parts will start rolling in. please let me know what you think, all suggestions are appreciated. while this is my first swapped 240, i have worked on and swapped some other stuff in the past. it seems like every group/genre of car owners has a little bit different style and i always like to hear opinions from all ends of the spectrum and incorporate a bit from each.
thanks

thanks, yeah its alright. seems to have all the right parts, just wasnt really done in the cleanest way. check out the rad support, you'd think if they were going to cut it, they would at least do it straight lol. i have lots of wiring, organizing, and deleting to do. there are quite a few hoses that arent hooked up and just lead no where. i cant wait to get started though, i just have two more classes before the weekend and then i can get things going.

hi, i personally don't like the idea of trying to finish what someone else stared, these sort of endeavors tend to turn into a nightmare.

i can definitely understand what you mean and i normally feel the same way, but when i consider what i paid for this thing, i forget about all that lol. but yeah generally i like to do everything myself so i know the ins and outs of the entire car.

dont like the color pattern either. Its kinda gay. welcome to the site. I look forward to seeing what you do with this car.

Maybe you should polish your compressor housing like this....

A little something I do on the side.

oh yeah the color scheme is very gay, i cant stand it. i got rid of all the green in the engine bay and then i take my head out and forget the car is still green, it sucks haha. yeah the compressor housing is coming off today. im going to clock the turbo, and paint the compressor and exhaust housings i think. polished looks very good but i dont think i want to spend that much time on it since i plan to get a different, smaller one in the future.

shoot i hope not either. I was thinking ill only give up if the motor turns out to be bad, but even then, long blocks can be had for under 1k so i think ill just stick with it either way.

Do a little research. you prob should have gotten plugs that are specific for your motor since you dont have a 2jz.
