its actually not to uncommon, all my rb buddies have the same setup because like me they dont have the $$$$ for a new intake manifold XD

yeah, a few of my buddies back in NC have RB20's..we both got ours running at the same time..we both had boost problems. he was making like 4psi and i was overboosting (bad SR wastegate). i was spiking at 25 psi and i walked by like 14 cars!!! haha...all the rb guys were so pissed..haha..then he pulled his wastegate line and ran me again..i walked by like 5 cars and he blew up the turbo..haha..i love my SR

damn!

thanks for the pos feedback everyone.

Ill try to swap the pipes, not much room with the tophatmount kit and bigger radiator.

well i have top hat mounts as well and a huge *** koyo radiator, and the clearence is very very minimal but it should work

haha yea but my rb20 runs quite well at around 14psi, i can beat stock sr's but ones running like 25psi would give me a few problems. the only thing i cant figure out is that i can beat my buddies rb25 s14 by a few cars.....

who knows? maybe that dude can't drive..yeah, my little SR was a monster on 25..but, thats also WAAAAY overboosting..its a nice calm 14 psi now..you should beat me..no biggie..anyway, how bad did you beat stock SR's? and whats all done to that rb again?

contact Mckinney Motorsports. i had the same problem, they made a spacer for me (back when i was doin the swap 2 years ago) they might still have it, if not i have one i'd sell to you.

well it was at the point where i just had a nose in front of the sr's so it was nothing too amazing, as for mods theres nothing too major, fmic, dp, intake, exhaust, and the ecu has been tuned which i just recently found out.

ill keep it in mind. I got a stock turbo elbow in the mail today, ill see how it fits, i may still need something else to help it clear!

all thats left is getting exhaust routed, driveshaft bolts, bleed clutch, remount bumper! I should be driving it next friday at the latest.
