yea pics for sure man, right now i have sort of a clearence issue with my turbo elbow and steering rack... but im still having my divorced dp made so nothing i can do about it now

I haven't had a chance to get many pix, my camera is MIA.

The car is sooo close.

I drove it around the block today, ran fine, made sure the clutch worked and it did.

I got my stock turbo elbow in the mail, clearence for steering shaft, steering knuckle works so now i have steering and exhaust

All i have left is to get some more bolts for the driveshaft, elec fans, downpipe, torque engine mount bolts and remount hood and bumper!

Driveshaft is on, electric fans are on and wired up.

I drove it around the block and had some problems. It would idle decent, but anything over half throttle and it would run really crappy - bog - buck. Im getting some compressor surge, so if anyone has had these things happen, let me know what you did to fix it.

i had both of those problems,

for the bogging- check your spark plugs, and re-gap them to .28, make sure the coilpacks are in good condition, and check for any boost leaks.

for the compressor surge make sure you have a small vaccume line hooked up to the back of the bypass, that just lets the bypass know when you let off so it will open. and if that line is there then your bypass is probably like mine.....broken x_x

Alright, it's easy to pull the plugs out and check them, but how do I test the coilpacks to make sure they are o.k?

As for boost leaks, its hitting 11psi and all my couplers are silicone and using tbar clamps.

As for the bypass valve, im bidding on an oem one off ebay. 15 bucks can't hurt to try and see if it helps. If not synapse makes a neat one.

just look on the coilpacks for any sort of cracks or damage, and you can use a spark plug tester to make sure your getting spark through all of them

I'm thinking the clutch is also part of the problem. I put the car in neutral and eased out the clutch, and the rpm changed a little bit, so I know it's not 100% disengaged. So at high rpms and boost, it's possible the clutch could be slipping.

Also, Im sure there is engine related problems as well. It is only pulling 14lbs of vacuum, whereas it should be atleast 20.

So things to check - fuel pressure, check plugs for residue/regap, inspect coil packs, check timing, check for boost leaks, and then check for leaks on the intake! That's really all it could be. computers usually dont go bad, and 02s, even if they are crappy shouldn't throw out THAT wack of a fuel curve.

well my clutch is fried as well, and if your o2 sensor is bad just do what i did unplug it for better mileage. and another question why do you still have your charcoal canister in there...rip that **** out! =)

How do you know your clutch is bad and just not bled or adjusted correctly?
What's wrong with the charcoal canister?

well you can start by bleeding the lines, and a hydraulic clutch cannot be adjusted.

the charcoal canister is for smog reasons, and with that motor smog dosent really matter
