reverse lights

i dont kno the crap about lights and $hit...so...can i paint my reverse light BULBS with...say...glass paint and still be relatively bright?...i kno this sounds kind of wierd...but since im painting my center garnish between the tail lights i think blue reverese lights will look pimp...if not...what can i use to color them?...or do i have to buy new bulbs?...i have no money...so...the cheapest way is more important than brightness and what not...cuz im not all that worried about my lights like performance $hit

My friend replaced his reverse light bulbs on his altima with blue ones and they look really awsome. I think he just went to autozone and picked some up for a couple bucks. But I'm pretty sure it's illegal to have anything besides white reverse lights.

Do not get the baby blue 1's. Get the dark blue!!!! I have them installed on my car and I think they look cool. My buddy bought the baby blue for his 240 and it didn't make much differance from stock. So he returned them for the dark blue. Here is a crappy pic of the dark blues

the dark blue ones look too blue and again its a small chance but a cop mite give you a ticket for it. the light blue one still looks blue, juss not so blue as the one in the pic. Its your choice

I think you can do which ever. You can go out and buy some paint and paint your bulbs if your feel like painting something but I think for the price of the paint you can buy some bulbs and just pop them in.

It was just some random store not sure what it is called. Theres no way in hell a cop would do anything over blue rev's lights (I think you have better chances of being hit by lighting). The bulbs are like $5 for a pair, don't even bother painting them, the paint will just flake off once the bulb heats up.

takes about 2 min. pull open the two flaps on the inside of the tail lights (just the carpeted thing inside the hatch). pull out the old lights in goes the new lights.
