s13 aftermarket seats

Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket seats in an s13? I am looking at Corbeau Forza's, and Corbeau makes a custom bracket. I am just wondering if anybody has had fitment issues with aftermarket seats, especially fixed back ones.

hey, I just installed a set of Recaro SE in my 92....holy crap that was a pain to install. I didnt want to get the Recaro Brackets and Sliders, as i have heard they mount teh seat to high, due to the big "bumps" in the floor pan. What i wound up doing, after many hours of playing around with backets, was use the stock s13 sliders and using angle iron cut to mount my Recaros to the S13 sliders. After ALOT of grinding, cutting, drilling, I eventually got them mounted PERFECTLY, they sit low like the stock seats, and feel oh-so-sweet to sit in. I like that I used the stock mounts, as I didnt have to drill any holes in the floor pan at all.

Hmmm. Sounds like it would be my best option. We are gonna take the corbeaus out of my buddys car, and see if we can find a way to put them on the factory sliders.

Yea, its doable...what i wound up doing to figure out how it worked was to take the factory brackets off my passenger seat (I wanted to have a drivers seat in case it took a while...and it did). I then took the factory brackets and bolted them into the car, placed my recaros on top of the brackets, and figured out how I needed to mount them. Like I said before, I wound up suing angle iron, about 1 1/2 inch thick stuff. On the side by the trany tunel, the angle iron hugged the seat, as that side need to come down low. On the door side, the iron faced down, with the seat resting on top of it, as that side need to come up. It was a real ***** to figure it all out, and alot of cutting with a cut off wheel was needed, but hey, I save myself $370.00 bucks in not buying brackets and sliders from recaro.

My problem is, corbeau makes sliders for the 240sx, but they claim the seats will not fit into my car. I really don't want to order the brackets at $75 a pop, because if they do not work, they can't be returned. But thanks for the ideas on mounting it.
