s13 hatch rear spoiler alternatives

my s13 has the stock spoiler that looks ready to yank off on each side seems to be loose and lifting up/ seeing that i have a rusted under does anybody know how to remove the tail the right way instead of just yanking it off? i was thinking about just taking the wing off because water has gotten in before and repairing the rust and filling them up.
by the way it's blocking air seems like it's time to be removed.
sugguestions?

Could do what I did and just buy a wingless hatch off of someone, I paid $75 and couldn't be happier

with aerodynamics on the early 240's you really don't need a wiper. I drive mine in the morning when it's covered with dew and few minutes driving it around at 40-50mph and it's clean. If I'm on the highway and it starts to rain the rain never hits the back window and that's at 70-80. The plus is I don't have any rust on the car.

salvage yard hatches FTW! The bad thing about that is, you need like 3 people to make the hatch fit right once you get the old one off.. .aligning it is not teh fun...
