s13 trim gap

i just removed the black trim around my car and the gap doesn't look that well w/o the black in it. so im thinking about bondo-ing the gap in. is there another way of getting rid of that gap cuz my way is gonna take a crapload of bondo.

I'm sorry. I know nothing about the 240sx or cars in general, I'm guessing I posted this in the wrong thread. I'm definitely trying to learn, and not stick out like a sore thumb. My apologies. I ment to post this in the sticky...for the S14 95-98 body kit thread.

WEll my car is in the shop right now getting that gap filled in, because you're right, it will take a crap-load of bondo/fiberglass and i am not into doing it all myself. I dont really know what to say about the gap except for to fill it in, i guess it depends on the color of your car too. like cars that are black, you can't really tell as much as you would be able to on a car that is florescent pink or orange, lol.

Best of luck.

Tom

Look at the indented line going along my car below the side markers. That indentation was once covered by rubber trimming.

o btw my car is white and its currently not running. i havent got to filling that gap in yet because my car is in the shop.

since im bored im going to get a little off topic... but i was considering purchasing a front clip and doing the SR swap because i dont think its worth paying to fix the KA. i have just enough money to pay for the clip and for someone to do the swap but i thought about it and decided im not going to do the swap. im just a 16 yr old kid and keeping the SR in shape would be way too much trouble for me. and i think it would be much better for now if i concentrate on driving better then driving faster. the whole reason i got a 240 in the first place was to become the next drift king. hahaha

I don't what gap you guys are talking about either. I've been staring at the picture for the longest, now I'm just really curious and have to know.

its the small line going all the way across the car horizontally. its a little bit more noticable on brighter color cars. the gap is probably only about a quarter of an inch deep if that.

Aye, look here. Look at where it isn't shaded. Those lines are the trim gap. Rubber trim used to be there.
