S15 Front End on a S13?

I would like to do something like the pic below. It's a 89-94 240sx, I've seen a ton of S15 conversions on a 95+ but not many on a S13. Is it harder to do? Is there a faq anywhere? Anyone know of any sites that sell a kit? It looks just frikken awesome!

Wow, yeah a little pricey. Although I do like the package prices for their SR20DET + install + performance parts. $4225 doesn't sound too bad at all. Just wished I lived closer. Not 2000 miles away. Oh well, guess I'll think of something else.

NO actually that's $4000 for the motor/tranny, labor to install, Walboro 255lph, 3" downpipe, N1 Catback, and ACT Clutch! Now to me that doesn't seem like a bad deal.

well 2 grand is a rip off in my opinion, i can call up friends in okinawa, theyll goto a junkyard and get the sr, pay them like 700. the least price i heard was 500-600 i think, and the most would be like 1000, and the s15 motor would be alittle more expensive, but it's harder to get so i dont worry bout that engine.

Sure your friends can buy one like that in JAPAN. Then you need to add in all the trouble of getting it to the US. Also these companies need to charge more to cover JUST the cost you're talking about, and cover themselves for their warranties and make a profit. SR's aren't too expensive as it is now... but if you wanna see some crazy mark-ups look at JDM Honda motors!

I haven't seen any sr20's under 2 large for a while now. It is mainly due to the fact that it is becoming a popular swap even in non-nissan cars. We will probably be seeing some of those high 'honda' swap prices on the sr's pretty soon.

it's 700 for the whole thing, everything you need. and yes indeed it is gettin popular but it's one of the best things bout living in okinawa. and i dont know any shipping problems about it. just go thru okinawa's boring shipping paperwork, pay shipping and handling which is always a ripoff no matter what, and then wait. the japs know how to handle their ****.

lionel,
Do you know a lot of people in Okinawa or did you live there or something? Cause I feel the same about paying 2000-2800 for a damn motor. Yeah everybody says buying a motor for 1000 is stupid, cause you never know what you might end up with. Its not like your gonna know anyways...sure its been compression tested,WOW, thats not everything. But if its in Japan thats why its so cheap. I can get a ford 2.3L turbo motor for like $300 and they come with a garret T3. Its just the fact that its domestic as is the sr20 in Japan. Can you get a hold of a front clip with like 30-40,000miles on it for a grand? If so how much do you think shipping would be?
