See the rest @ www.jmcn.com

I've gotten a Blitz NUR Spec-R exhaust since then. Have to take some news pics...but it's too cold.

jmcn :

Nice car! What wheels are those? Are they painted or powder coated?
In your site it says stock wheels. They kinda look different than OEM.

Nope, they're OEM. Painted & clearcoated professionally.

Why did you choose to paint over powder coating? Cost?

Just wondering cause thats what I want my brother to do as well. But I was considering powder coating. Have you had any chipping issues?

Thanks.

Cost was a factor, but the main reason was because of the plastic Nissan centercaps. I really didn't want to ditch the centercaps, and as you could imagine, plastic can't be powdercoated because it would melt in the baking process. I was worried about there being matching issues if I had the wheels powdercoated and the centercaps painted, so I just had it all painted.

I have only had chipping issues in the last few months. There's probably one tiny chip in each wheel due to the stupid road salt the city puts down on the roads.

I was told powdercoating chips too, so I don't know if I am any worse off with painted wheels as opposed to powdercoated wheels anyhow.

Totally depends on the place. Painting was $100 a wheel for me. Powdercoating would have been $150 a wheel. But from what I have heard, that's on the high end of the pricing spectrum.
