Alright, i searched and searched on this site and many others, and can't find a straight answer to this. Let me explain my situation.

I am looking at either an s13 conversion or s15, i am now thinking the s15 will be cheaper due to what i would have to do to a 95 s40 to get everythign to work well.

So i was looking for full conversion kits and well...... the front bumpers that come with the kit are hideous in my opinon. So basically what I am wanting to know is this....if i buy a bodykit (im looking at Nismo's) and just the headlights and signals, will it work?

Basically the main question here is....will a bodykit made for a true silvia s15 fit my car? So i can just have a clean looking conversion. any feedback would be appreciated thx.

 

Im guessing you have a S14?? Your question is kinda confused, if you dont have the conversion done yet(Complete)then a body kit for the S15 wont work.

im saying when i get the conversion, i will get the hood fenders bumper reinforcement all that, just not a front bumper. will it work then?

 

If you have the conversion done, yes you can buy S15 front bumpers. Obviously not the whole kit since you only converted the front

 

so ur saying that i basically couldnt get the full kit? How much bigger is the silvia in comparison to the 240, because the kit i want wouldnt necessarily look great with just the front bumper

 

hyjinks, are you saying you can buy a s15 bumper specifically made for s15's and put it on an s13 chassis?

IF you do the S15 conversion(fenders hood and etc.)then you can upgrade your front bbumper to any S15 aftermarket bumper. The S15 is a totally different chassis from all the 240sx's sold in the US, so you wont be able to get a full S15 body kit. you will need to get a S15 front, S14 sides and rear. I dont know how much bigger or smaller S14s are compared to a S15....but I do know it wont work

i knoe what ur sayin jinx!! If you have the conversion done already you can change your front bumper to any S15 front bumper. I am on my second bumper changed it with no major problems (besides my shiety ghetto rigged 1/2 GTP 1/2 nissan fenders) lol
