started making my own lip

ive been searching for a nice front lip for quite some time now and just havent found anything i really liked plus cash flow during the semester is limited. so heres what i got goin now...

factory 95-96 s14 front lip got from a friend, ofcourse it doesnt fit so were makin it fit.

a little body filler to make it fit right up to the edge

one side done and test fit on the car, still needs some sanding but ill be workin on the other side tonight and hopefully finish it up. paint it and have it on over the weekend. tell me what ya think.

looks pretty good. did you just use bondo to fill it in? i do alittle body work sometimes and the only things i know to use are fiberglass and bondo,lol. what other types of filler are there?

yea didnt get the chance to work on it last night we did some tuning instead still workin on the aem ems.....but i plan on connecting it since i had to cut some out of the center, im gunna reinforce the back side of the lip with fiberglass weave and resin so it might have a chance at surviving. from the looks of things its prolly gunna get beat up quick sitting so low. right now the cracks are just being held together with super t glue, stuff works like a charm for now till its fiberglassed. ill keep ya guys posted.

good idea with fiberglass, if that is bondo it will crack as soon as you put it back on the car

Because with driveways though. I scrape my xenon lip like crazy at my height, but no worries because it's urethane. Looking good, just take care of it, Last think you need are cracks everywhere.
