supra taillights

Hi...I am thinking about doing the supra taillight conversion on my 1995 240sx. I was wondering if you all knew what was involved in this conversion. Any pictures you have or advice would be helpful!!!

Thanks!!

Just a warning...you will probably be flammed on this, but if you want to do it you will need your lights, alot of patience, and a good body shop with an open walllet!

He should not be flamed for putting in Supra tail lights. That is an awesome mod that makes his car unique and sexy. I would have done the supra tailights instead of the kouki 180 tails but the cost was a little more.

I want Supra tailights on a 180sx chassis with an S15 frontend....
very sexy.

I agree that it is sexy, I would not flame for it either, I just noticed as an observation that in general, people tend to flame what isnt stock as far as body mods...personally, I love the look.

Hey, thanks on the compliments. My car is a show car. I mean, you really can't go fast if you have a body kit, wheels, etc. I mean, future mods are gonna be a greddy header, an apexi n1 exhaust, and maybe a few more things. I know it takes alot to win shows nowadays. I don't want to go so far that ppl can't tell it's a 240. Yea, I know about the flaming already. I posted on zilvia.net about it and all they do is flame. They want me to do the s15 tails conversion, which is equally as hard. I personally think the supra tails are a good show upgrade.

Thanks guys,

Brittany

I've actually seen this conversion on a 95 240. A guy in Dallas did the supra tail light swap with the S15 front end. Looked hella clean

I thought it was actually pretty ugly.

My opinion on supra lights is they look really wierd on the 240, plus supra lights are pretty popular so I would think S15 lights or kouki S14 lights would get you more points.

Here's a pic of a 240SX with a Supra taillight conversion. I think it looks clean, but not something I would do personally. You can find more pics of this car at Import Tuner: Turning Japanese

There's a pre-made conversion made for sale on either 240SXforums.com or NICO.....go check it out...he made em I believe so he could tell you what's involved. I don't personally like the Supra conversion....it's really played out.
