those "diamond" red/clears will go way down in price if you wait a few months as did the coupe origin lab tails
I'm ready for some red/clear kouki s14 tails

well this is what i did... i took these from eBay



painted them with some finesse and masking tape and came out with these...

Really? Not including mine, theres like 4 240s where im at.. and 2 of em deliver pizzas, ones a beat up POS driven by a crackhead woman, and the other is a black coupe with silvia front end and a c18... thats a bad as 240 there!

I dunno I'm just not feeling the center section with the oversize-looking reverse lights... but that's IMO of course

 

i think that looks pretty damn nice but as raine said the reverse lights are a tad odd. i bed you could paint them to look like the rhombus shaped kouki back ups or smoked them a little if ya wanted

 

yeah, i may sell these and get another set and then i can use the original tails and trace the rhombus on some clear tape and use that instead of custom taping it...icould also put a nisan logo in it so that when u back up it shows the nissan logo... that would be pimp

It's actually older than 'ricer'... back when Ford Escorts and Honda Accord Lx-i's used to use masking tape to put an arrow symbol on their turn signals. It was almost universal - circles for the tail lights, arrows for the turn signals, and some sort of combination of small circles or squares for the reverse light.

yeah, but i was thinking just put a vinyll nissan logo over the centerpiece, and then prime it and spray it black, then remove the vynil so theres only a chrome nissan logo, and when you back up, it lights up... it wouldnt be on both reverse lights, just one side. the other would be painted over. duh.

 

 

idkn about the nissan symbol idea what about one in the middle of the center garnish, just glue a chrome hamburger on there

 

i was actually going to put a chrome burger (not the nissan kind) on the back of the car and have in chrome letters on the rocker panels just barely big enough to read easily from 10 feet "fatmobile" cuz im fatman. Everyone in school knows me as fatman...long story...
