Upgrading Light Bulbs

When upgrading light bulbs they say H4, H1, etc.

The H# means what kind of housing it is correct?

On a 95 240sx the H4 are the low beams, H1 is the high beams, right?

What housing is the turn signal?

Then on my 89 hatch 240 the flip up light housings are H4 right?

H1, H4, etc. is the bulb not the housing. Housings would be for sealed beam headlights like the S13, which to answer your question is a 6054 housing. Turn signals are usually 1156 or 1157 bulbs depending on if you need single or dual filament. S13 needs a 1157, I dunno bout the S14 though. Just take out the bulb and see what it says.

there are 2 ways...

-translucent amber/orange spray paint (avail. at any hobby store)

-clear in the day, amber at night (amber wedge bulbs)
