WHat do I need to make this Japanese?
 

This is the pic I have. I would like to convert this to the look of what was made in Japan. ANy links to help me would be greatly appreciated.

Did you want to make it LOOK like it's JDM or actually have the SR20DET? Because if you just want the look you just get an s13 front conversion, a simple Google search will yield good results.

But if you want to go all out, then do all of the things mention by s13gold, and then get the SR20.

The car was made in Japan so hey problem solved. Lol, jm. What it it first of all, a coupe or a fastback?

well judging by that fat ass intercooler, i'm assuming he's already running turbo.. maybe an sr20.

Anywayz, If you want a JDM look for your hatch, then look up 180sx pictures. I believe there are 3 generations.

I am looking to make it have all the exterior qualities of the JDM car. I need to know what parts I need to make it this way.Links are very helpful for this. I would like to get it look like what was in Japan. I love JDM alot. My buddy has a 1G talon with the JDM motor and 20G under the hood. I have alot of respect for the car's made and driven and Japan. I wish I was born there and had the ability to whip something RHD. I want to keep interior stock and just want to make it look and perform A+++.

I thought that also, but he could also have a turboed KA, so I just told him about it anyway. :wave:

That would be badass man. I would like to do a full write up on this as parts come in and get finished. I will need to do a paintjob. I have a local shop that will do anything that I need. Here's my previous ride and some specs they did. Shaved handles,antenna,trunk lock.

Well, I was trying to do the same (s13 front end) but i changed my mind to the flush headlights look. N-E-ways, what style are you going for as far as the front end goes? Their's the s13, s14, and s15. s14 is the much more rare and not easy to find. s13 is what your probably looking for. But guess what, in Japan your car is a 180sx(your already their), not unless you want the sil-eighty look(s13 front end). Like other people said, look up the 180sx pix. Google will be your friend and try typing different keywords cuz sometimes you won't find what your looking for, you could try ebay and see pics their too. Good luck! :thumb:

a japanese lisence plate will compete the look...ill sell u one for $35 plus shipping...it is a genuine one strait from japan...i have yellow and white ones...they are both chiba prefecture...and ill show u pics if u are interested...if u want matching ones for both the rear and the front...ill have some more in about 2 months...then ill sell plates to whoever is interested on this forum...PM to reserve one or a set...

and btw u can get a S13 front end if it is a coupe or fastback...cuz remeber the sileighty was produced by nissan for a short period in 1994...either way it will be JDM OEM-licious ...

That car is freakin ridiculous. Not only did he need to paint the word "intercooler" on it,he bought a civic.:laugh:

The car does has a turbo in it. I wouldn't rock any Nissan without the turbo. Yep my plans are to make this in words of "ayuaddict" JDM OEM-licious.
