I started a thread about how it happened already in the 'general' section, and I'm too lazy to type it again, so just read that to see how it happened, but I wrecked my car last night. Here are some pics of what it looks like now. I'm in search of an s13 with no motor that I could pick up for cheap. If oyu have any leads, tell me please.

daaamnnnn that sucks bro. I saw a few ads on craigslist for the shell. look up san francisco area though. I don't know if you're willing to drive all the way out here, but just trying to help. GL with the find.

 

I'm going to socal in may. But I already found a shell. It's a '90 xe. I'ma put my de in it and swap out some interior stuff. I payed way too much for it, but I needed a car. $1500. It's in almost as good of condition as my red one, but it has a little rust spot on the quarter panel, and some chipping on the spoiler (has a stock spoiler from an se, but it's an xe) The interior is still mint, except for the usual tear on the driver's seat. I gave him $100 down, and I have until may to pay it off, but I don't get it till it is payed off, so hopefully I can pay it off sooner. I have to drive my friends blazer until then :P, I hate trucks, especially chevs. I'll post pics when I get it.
I need some help though:
- I need a 5 speed swap faq, or info on how to do it, or even somebody to tell me if its easy to do or not.
- I need a 24de swap faq, and/or info on it's dificulty
- I got a few parts for sale for local pickup, anybody interested (will not ship, local pickup only)

It'll be alright. I bought a little chevy blaze 4x4 to drive for a few months until I get my new s13 all sitiated. I just need to pay it off, then I need to swap in my 24de (it's '90), do a 5 speed conversion, and put my front bumper an tunk lid on it (it has the stock foam spoiler, the trunk is dead! lol. It'll all work out if I'm patient.

 

Are you in WA State? Look on northwestnissans.com , there is a guy in Bend Oregon selling a blue HB that needs a little bodywork for $800.

$1500 for a shell? DAAAAAM! I paid 1900 for my running driving 5spd 92 coupe and I Overpaid. But if they are letting you make payments.

thanks. I'ma try and get it moding soon. The new 240 isn't bad. It just needs a new cam on the 24e, but I want to do a complete late model conversion, it's not going to be that tough to put hte 24de in, just a few things i need to mod. The tough part is oging to be the 5speed converison. Then I need to get it repainted cause hte paints not too great, but hte body is super flat.

I wasn't drifting, I was changing lanes, and this chevy truck was in my blind spot. I sideswiped him. While I don't think that drifting is dumb, I do think it should be done at the track, not on the street. I have tried it, and am not very good at it. I will probably drift this car when I get better suspension mods, but not right now with only aftermarket springs (I mean with the black one, not the wrecked red one, lol)

Thanks. How long did it take you, and was it hard. Me and my brother are doing it, and we've never done a conversion like this. We have all our parts, it's just a matter of putting them on the new car.
