Dude i need big help. i recently bought Z3 fender inserts for my 1990 nissan 240. these
inserts are mad out of fiberglass and are meant to sit in the fender flush
with the surface. (just as on the bmw z3) my problem is figuring out how to
bond the fiberglass panel to the steel fender. my dad is pretty hell bent on
using some sort of mechanical connection like pop rivets. but from all that
i've read people usually use a gritty sand paper on the inside fender wall
and the lay fiberglass around the joint (inside the fender wall) i went to
my local auto body supply store and the guy there suggested using a
combinations of epoxy and fiberglass to attach them. does anyone have any experience here?
