sadly, ur probably right. around the time they came out (circa de '99?) nissan was looking toward the Z concept. so, more than likely, an SR20DET powered S15 would have = diminished Z sales...

wait, i take that back. KA powered or not, that would also mean no paying out the *** for S15 body panels/headlights.

 

I bet if they sold it here every civic and integra in the country would have S15 lights.
