What does toyota put up?
Dave, why not go stock for stock? He's not asking which car will be better after I throw X amount of money into it, anyone knows that with a lot of money you can make any car amazing. So stock for stock is what you should be debating, not x amount into the car how will it do compared to x amount in another car...
Stock for stock, even if the guy/gal in the S14 LOSES, he/she is still the better winner.
You figure the most you're going to spend on a CLEAN S14 is probably around 9k if it's stock. That's if you're getting EFFED in the A by the seller.
Compare that with the S15 importer . . .and it's apples to oranges with USDM vs JDM anyway because the JDM cars are turboed (I believe all S15s were turbo) so you'd have to buy a JDM turbo S14 . .which just makes you seem more of a spanner.
I'm sorry, I will not detract my previous statement. If that guy wants to import a car for the sake of road racing, he's not going about this thing the right way. No, there's no defined way of doing things, but there are smart bridges to cross . . .take the rocky road if that's what gets you moving in the morning.
