I'm not sure if this has been done on this site or not (haven't seen it) but how about we have a forum/thread set up for Risky/Fraudulent Sellers. Maybe title it "Seller Reviews" or "Seller Feedback". Within this forum we could setup a "Bad/Fraud Sellers" list that would warn other members before buying anything from them.
I would also like to see if we could post the IP addresses of the Bad/Fraud sellers in that forum also...that way if they tried to re-register under a new name it would still be obvious who the seller is. If a member in question was worried/concerned about a seller, they could ask the moderator in charge of the forum if the IP address matched up with any of the Bad/Fraud sellers' IP's. I know this isn't 100% fool proof but it's definitely a start and a good way to weed out fraudulent sellers.
Another thing I would like to inquire about is the boards registration setup. Is there any way to eliminate multiple sgn in name's under 1 IP address? I'm pretty sure it's been done before and would be very helpful to help eliminate situations like this.
If this is something you guys think would benefit this board I would be more then happy to moderate the forum and keep on top of it. Please give me your feedback and give me any suggestions you would have to create the forum or make it better.

sounds like a good idea.there are too many shady people out there.

 

I have added a 'Vendor Review' Forum in general discussions. I think this will help club240 members and club240 staff to ensure we have vendors here with good ethics and professional service.

As for private sales, I can add a sticky called 'Scam Alert' so members can post a suspicious person that has or MOST likely will commit a fraud. I dont want this thread to get out of hand though and everyone post a scam alert if their payment/shipment is 1 day late!

Let me know what you guys think of the 'Scam Alert' idea in private sales.
