Hey I was wondering what gas and oil companies you use???
I was using Valvoline and texaco but Im trying quakerstate and chevron now.

 

for gas i use mobil, for oil i use mobil...

 

Gas - Generally Irving, but any big gas chain will do, I don't do the ma and pops gas stations, only god knows how bad their gas can be

Chevron and Mobil 1

 

There are a number of good comparison studies out there for oil. I can't link to any right now but I know that Mobil 1 always seems to come out on top. I'll try to find some links while I'm at work tomorrow.

For gas I like Chevron. I think they always sell quality. Now that Chevron owns Texaco, I'm sure that's just as good.

I use chevron for gas, and redline for oil. I want my baby runnin like a champ!!!

 

Isn't Redline oil a little too much for street driving? Or is it one of those "use the best to be the best" things?

 

mobil and the occasional 76

 

I've been doing some searching and there is a lot of talk about AMSOIL. All I've ever really heard from most drivers is that Mobil 1 was the best. Does anyone run Amsoil? Any other thoughts?

AMSOIL is a oil company and the thread is about both.
