Clarksville, TN area mettings!!

Hey Clarksville area!! Don't know if you all know about it but every friday night from 12am to 4am at Clarksville motor speedway is open drags. And a get place to meet others that love cars. Also on wednesday is sport compact night at the drag strip. They feature bracket racing with a pay out to the winner and runner up. Hope to see some new face around the track.

The track is a 1/8 mile, and I haven't ran my car there yet. Still building it, waitting on the most important part, the motor. Found out today it's still in Japan, and the place I ordered it from is trying to find me another one from someone else. Cause I have been waitting over a month for it. I was hoping ot have it done by now but I am hoping for June July timeframe. Your trying to sell your car, if you bring it up to the track I'm sure you'll get alot of people looking at it.

no, its not going to be for sale any more. I've decided to finish it out, even though I dont have the $$$ to do it..lol

I'm not really sure when i'll have a chance to run it, I would like to make a few upgrades before I do so I can really turn up the boost.

I'd like to take a run against yours though when you finish it

That will be great, the more people come the better the cars are there. I have only seen a couple 240 there. Right now the STI's are winning most of the time.

Hey Sizzzoooo!! Is Heavy Throttle a good company to deal with? My buddy is looking at getting a sr from them and some other stuff.

****, of course, i bet those damn STIs shoot straight out of the hole like no other.

btw, Heavy Throttle is one of the, if not THE best in the country for an SR motor swap

go to www.heavythrottle.com or www.srswap.com , its the same site, just different names

Hey Guys!! June 26 and 27 at the Clarksville Speedway one of the local clubs is holding a race wars. On the 26 is qualification, and I think first round something like that. Then on the 27 is the car show and semi and final rounds for drag racing. In the drags you'll be going against same engine size. There are throphies and other stuff. Preregister is like 20 bucks and at the gate is 25. Spectators is 7 bucks. I don't remember the times off the top of my head I'll find them and post them if any one wants to go.

sounds like fun.

do they do it by cylinders or liters?

Does the entrance fee cover the car show and drag racing?

It's by cylinders and I think the fee is for both, but I will check on that.

Got my motor today I'm so happy, so the fun begins on putting it in. Starting on it tomorrow or Saturday. Hope to have it running by June.
