Crank Pulley Bolt Removal???

I've been reading up on how to remove the crank pulley bolt but the methods mentioned were for an engine in the car or on a engine stand. My engine is sitting out of the car on a skid so how should I go about removing and replacing the crank pulley bolt?

Impact gun to break it loose, or breaker bar w/something holding the flywheel/crank from moving.

Impact is like heaven for a situation like that--then a gear puller jaw [3 claw works best but 2 claw is good too]

Big breaker bar and something wedging the flywheel is ok too, but a lot more annoying.

even with impact somtimes it wont come out some guys at work hit it with their half inch guns wont come out then they come to borrow my Mac Tools Half inch impact gun 1000 foot pounds of torque in reverse and mine pulls them out np so a strong one is needed or just a breaker bar

Thanks! No impact but I do have a breaker bar so I'll try that.

I got my engine off that old tire and on a engine stand for my build and was able to rig something up to help me remove the crank pulley bolt.

and put one of the transmission bolts through a link and threaded it into the housing.

This chain and bolts kept the pulley from spinning.

Then I used a 27mm socket and a breaker bar to bust the crank pulley bolt loose.
