PFC, Z32 and Injectors - Problems
1991 SR20DET was running fine with the stock injectors/afm and the Power FC. (Car also has fuel pump, intercooler, etc.)
I dropped in some 550cc SARD injectors and a Z32 AFM.
I set the PFC to Z32 AFM and put in the correction values for the injectors.
I set my PFC to Z32 and 67% for the injector correction factor.
Also, I believe the stock injectors (370cc) were .70ms for latency, so I put in +0.15ms for the latency correction. (the SARDs are .85ms)
It runs like its on 3 cylinders.. lots of smoke. Doesn't sound too good, misfiring a lot.. definitely not drivable.
I tried disconnecting the Z32 AFM entirely and the car started up very smoothly, the revs climbed to about 2500 and then it shut off. This leads me to believe that the injectors are fine and there's just something going on with the AFM.
Is it possible that the Power FC is just incapable of running the Z32 afm? Or is there something definitely wrong with the wiring or the sensor or something. Anyone got any ideas? Is there any tricks to diagnose the AFM?
Thanks

Sounds like the MAFS was wired wrong.
You probably have the 12v wire switch with the 5V signal wire causing the MAFS to max out.
Verify your wiring.
I made that mistake due to the JWT wiring diagram (I believe the JWT diagram is backwards)
