Ok so Ive got a 89 240 with sr20det red top. the swap just got done about a week ago and after startup we have a really bad idle. almost as if 2 cyl arent firing all the time. All vacuums are fine, The injectors have 12v and are pulsing fine, and good spark. The plugs are carboned up so I know its running rich. What are some possible problems Im facing. thanks in advance.

iacv possibly, clean it out. or mabey sr's dont have those?

 

you should try bypassing the iacv put a rubber cap on it ant on the outlet from the intercooler pipe and turn down your idle some if you still have the problem its something else but i still recommend you bypass it because they fail alot on sr's i got this info from durdan a while back so it should be accurate he an sr genius
