red top not idleing right

so finish my swap today so decided to go for a test run...

-not idleing right, sputters..below 500 and eventually shuts off...
-in 1st it starts bogging down at 4000
-in 2nd it cuts at 3000
-same with 3rd, 4th, 5th

all my cylinders are firing...

nxt is the maf.. pretty sure the wiring is good but i will over check it

its wierd cause i ran it on monday night nd it went well over 6000

but after pulling the motor nd putting in new clutch yesterday it went down hill

however i did take out the egr well i didnt want too but i tried hammering in a lil so my steering shaft doesnt hit.. so that's off but not blocked off

also i took off the catch can

is any of those things a culprit?

ok ill try blockin it off..

but today on one of the test drives i did i would be able to reach 5000 no problem but when shifted into 2nd it would sputter nd when put in 3rd, i cant go over 1500.. ????

how bout the catch can? from what i know yu dont need it... but i was wondering if im wrong... does that effect anything?

there is probably a boost/vaccum leak somewhere.

i had that problem one time with my 97 s14 with s13 blacktop swap.

check all vaccum/boost lines.
