SR Throttle Cable Bracket Question???

I went to put the throttle cable on my SR today and saw that the SR throttle cable bracket has a circular bushing on it and I was wondering if this is needed because when I took the cable off my KADE I just loosened the nuts and slid it off but in order to get it, the same throttle cable, on this bushing I'll have to get the two nuts off it and I can't see how to get them over the metal piece at the tip of the throttle cable. Anyone???

I kinda rigged mine for now. Its too damn cold to go out and take a picture. I am pretty sure this is a common problem.
