I have a 240 with an automatic trans and I have just assumed I should do the manual swap when I put in an SR or CA or whatever, but does anyone know where I might find an SR20 or a CA18 with an automatic trans? I have looked and looked and can't seem to find anything. Does anyone have any advice?

jhotimports.com sometimes has automatic sr20dets, havent seen a ca18 though, but give them a call and they can tell you when they will get some in..

Jdm Engine depot has auto trans for pretty much anything you need. I've never bought anything from them myself, but a few of my friends have and those motors have all been good.

Although shops might not list them, they will still carry a small handful. Just hit up a reputable shop near you and see what they have or what they can get.
