Starting my sr powered S14

Heres the car

Started the rip down

Heres the motor


Engine Crane

More pics are coming planning to be done by the end of march.
My part list includes:
-GT28RS Turbo
-Step 2 cams
-Z32 MAFS
-stage 2 clutch
-LSD Diff.
-Power fc
-HKS FMIC
-Aluminum Radiator w/ Dual electric fans
-255 Fuel pump
-B&M short throw
-550cc injectors
-maybe big bore need to do more research about.
Advice would be well appreciated im sorta new to 240s
Also on the car already is:
-3" HKS header back
-K&N Intake
-Carbonfiber Hood

dunno hopefully ill be over 275 hp but i just dont want a stock sr

Looks real good! One question though. You're not planning to leave the little filter on the T-fitting on your valve cover are you?

Y is that bad? the motor is the way i got it so far i just did a compression test and drained the fluids

u want to run a hose to the compressor inlet pipe where it belongs or else to a catch can

Yes, that helps relieve pressure in the crank case. I suggest running a line from that t-fitting to an oil catch can and from the catch can to your intake pipe.

Theres been alot of progress

Yanked the motor

Ripped down the block

Not to bad

Some build up
Machining:
-Got it bored .5 over for my wiseco pistons
-Polished and balance crank
-All new engine bearing
-Port and polish
-B.C. springs
-RAS
-New oil pump, pan, water pump, cam gears, chain and guides
-stage 2 B.C. cams
-ARP rod bolts
Thats about everything motor wise.
I'll have my assembly pix up soon cuz i just got the motor back yesterday.
Boostage!!!
-Garret gt2871r .86a/r
-Greddy FMIC
-Hks SSQV

Test fit

Bangin

1/2 my grad $

So much better
Electronics:
-Top zero TT
-Apexi AVC-R(200 of a friend sweet!)
-Autometer Boost, Oil pres., and A/F ratio gauges

Dash

Pillar Gauges

nice build but i goto say way overkill for 300whp the turbo with a .86ar is gona take forever to spool should have gotten .64ar GT2871r with a .64ar is good for 400+ hp

Ya but w.e. the only thing i could do now is sell it and rebuy the other model but it doesnt matter i wish i bought the .64 ar but ill c
