NEED ADVICE 17X7 +42 Motegi FF7

Yeah... I'm well aware that these wheels, along with their offset suck, but I'm stuck with them for now.

My question is what size spacers do I need to get them flush, and where can I get them for as little money as possible?

1996 Nissan 240SX SE.. in case that helps

um...yea...30mm is available pretty much anywhere. $130 at autornd. http://www.autornd.com/catalog/produ...2e620a80ba2e46

you will probably will be able to get a machine shop to make you 47mm spacers but it will cost you a pretty penny, at which point you will be better off getting new wheels. since you have enough sence to know that +47 offset sucks im guessing your car came with the motegis.

at least you know they suck..

so let's get that offset to MIN. +10..

but bigger the spacer, the more dangerous it is..

let's not expect anything less than $100.

ok i was bored so i did a little research for you. the bad news is the wheels are ugly, the good news is at least you have the lowest offset available for that wheel: the "motegi FF7"

i honestly think you should buy some hotwheels or mb motorings if you are 5 lug.

or in the case that you really like motegis, get the "touge" in 18x10 offset +30.

your going to end up spending around $300 for spacers and studs. imo your best option is to get a cheap set of wheels that fit well ie: starion wheels 16x9 0 and 16x8-10

Any suggestions on cheap wheels... my friend tells me that once I get my coilovers on... (Tomorrow @ 5AM...ugh) it's going to look really bad because they sit inside the wheelwell so far, which I agree with, but just dont have the funds to fix it atm.

Where are good places to get wheels for cheap, preferrably 17 inch, because I like how the car handles with the lower profile tires

gee... thanks for "feeding" me

thanks for the autornd link tho... made me want my Volk GT-7's again

they have all the offsets although this site is quite overpriced

~~James~~

edit: Also, what offset for front and back will be the most flush if I get 17x8 and 17x9 for F/R respectively

I was thinking like +10 front and +20 rear?

its all about what flush means to you. i like how the starion wheels sit -10 front an 0 rear on 8s and 9s. there is always the option of mustang cobra replicas 17x9/10.5 for around $400
