If u drop ur car jus a lil bit (i.e. not slamming the car to the ground) u can fit those rims into any Silvia chassis. I've seen 18 x 9.5 in the front and 18 x 10.5 in the rear. So ur pretty much ok with the rims u have.

jeebus, did those things stick out like crazy? My car wont be slammed but there's no gap between the tire and fender

The Motosports Dynamics' S14a (Hubert's S14a) is running the Gram Lights 57pros (18 x 9 front, 18 x 10 rear) they're not flush, but the give the S14 more of a curvature to the wheel well area that makes it look perfect. The front has the M-Sport fenders which have a bubble fender flare designed into it. The rims match the car's design so well.

Check out Hubert's site:

www.willraceforfood.com

Look at the pics he posted up, the rims look really nice on there.
But also, remember that theres an offset. the Offset makes a big difference in how far in or out the rims will sit. I think Hubert's 57pros have an offset of + 37 front and rear.

What about if you put on the fender flares onto a Fastback, how wide can you go on those w/o fender rolling/pulling.

theres no point on putting a fender flair if your going to leave the fenders stock. most people i know cut the stock fenders when putting on wider rear fenders.
