17x9 sportmax on lowered 240 w/ kyb agx ???
i picked up some sportmax 17x9 35+ offset all around and i am concerned about fitment. i have kyb agx + springs lowered 1.2 inches in front and 1 inch in rear.
also currently stock 205 width tires on the car now. 235s are going on it.
looking under my front wheel today it seems like it will be tight, i hope it works with the offset...what do you guys think?

They'll fit you're not even close enough to being low on just springs, and they'll clear basic shocks fine.
The fronts will be flush to the OEM fender, the rears will be sunken in about 10-20mm.
Phreze those wheels have been out for awhile; there's a thread on Zil where 1/2 like them for the $ and 1/2 are crying about their "cheapness".

I know those rims have been out for awhile, thats why I know they are heavy. Not planning on getting them, trust me I have something else in mind. Just leting the guy know they dont look to bad.

well initially when we put the wheels on they wouldnt fit. however, the car hadn't been aligned since it had been lowered. so we got it aligned and the wheels still wouldnt fit. looks like im gonna need spacers for the front 2 wheels.

yeah they are hitting the shock - my mechanic said a 10mm spacer should do it. i will keep you updated as right now i look like an idiot with the rims only on the rear.
i think a staggered setup might work better with 17 x 8's in the front. however, this is my first time putting rims on my car. my mechanic said it only needs less than a half inch to fit.
im going to put them on the front myself tonight to see how much clearance there is etc. ill post a picture on here.
dont forget my car is lowered 1.2" in the front and has kyb agx shocks, not sure if that matters or what. ill post pictures and from there the pros can give their opinions.
hope i was of some help. any questions let me know.

lowering doesn't affect the wheel hitting the shock up front but it would affect the tire rubbing a fender or inner liner. and BTW my mistake the S13 I saw was 17 staggered; the s14 was 17x9 all around.
If your mechanic says you need a 10mm spacer, then get a 10 mm spacer because other than getting different offset 17x9's (not available) or going to 17x8's, getting a spacer is all you can do to get them to fit. It's that simple...There's nothing more to it.

i've gotten coilovers since then. havent checked the clearance because i didnt want to deal with having the studs stick out too much. maybe one day when i'm not so lazy.
